Team Bath seeking first BUCS Super Rugby win double of the season as they visit Nottingham Trent

Team Bath men’s 1st XV travel to Nottingham Trent today (Wednesday) looking to continue their winning run and complete their first BUCS Super Rugby double of the 2018-19 season.

The Blue & Gold, sponsored by Fulkers and MJ Church, held on for a nervy 41-36 victory when the two teams met at the University of Bath Sports Training Village earlier this month, with captain Tom Doughty scoring a hat-trick of tries on the night.

That was the first of three successive home wins for Team Bath, moving them up to second in the early league table, and they will be keen to extend that record at Nottingham RFC (3.30pm kick-off).

Brandon Bellamin starts on the wing in the only change among the backs for Team Bath. George Cave returns at prop and Josh Lilly starts at blindside flanker, with Jack Kenningham moving to Number 8. Tom Ireland-Life is named among the replacements for the first time this season.

Here’s what happened the last time Team Bath took on Nottingham Trent…
