Bath Rugby Academy players return to Team Bath starting XV for derby day visit to Hartpury

Team Bath men’s 1st XV will welcome back a host of Bath Rugby Academy players for today’s BUCS Super Rugby derby at Hartpury (6.30pm).

No 8 Miles Reid makes his first appearance in Blue & Gold this season, while Jack Davies starts at lock and Will Partington returns at full-back.

Alex Burrage, who will wear the captain’s armband, is also available again and is joined in the half-back pairing by George Wootten, making his first start of the season.

Tonight’s match is the first of two meetings between Team Bath and their Gloucestershire rivals in the space of a fortnight, with Hartpury the next visitors to the University of Bath Sports Training Village on Wednesday, December 12 (6.30pm).
