Chance for a trophy as University of Bath rugby players head to The Rec for Bath Combination Cup final

University of Bath rugby players will once again get to experience competing under the floodlights at The Rec tonight (Wednesday) when they take on Midsomer Norton RFC in the Bath Combination Cup final.

Luke Trewella will captain the Blue & Gold in the trophy match, which is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm at the famous city-centre home of Bath Rugby.

It is one of two finals taking place on the night, with Avon facing Combe Down in the Bath Combination Vase final at 6.15pm.

Entry is free and donations will be accepted on the evening.

University of Bath starting XV: 15 Ben Meadon, 14 Cal Barrett, 13 Jake Penprasse, 12 Will Stride, 11 Murray Bellis, 10 Tom Pitman, 9 Jacob Tansey; 1 Will French, 2 Luke Trewella (c), 3 Josh Rasor, 4 John Smith, 5 Cam Keys, 6 Ed Ashcroft, 7 Jake Sugg, 8 Dan Thomas. Replacements: 16 Matt Mason, 17 Dan Mason, 18 Rory Holland, 19 Lachie Wood, 20 Sam Bridges, 21 Miles Gilbert, 22 Max Senior.
