Champions Hartpury provide next test as Team Bath look to build on big Anniversary Game win at Melksham RFC

Team Bath men’s 1st XV will be looking to build on last week’s memorable Anniversary Game victory at The Rec when they entertain local rivals Hartpury in BUCS Super Rugby tonight (6.30pm).

The Blue & Gold – sponsored by Fulkers Bailey Russell – notched their first win of the season in superb style when they beat Cardiff University 52-25 in front of a 6,500-strong crowd at The Rec.

There are four changes to the starting XV for tonight’s match against three-times BUCS champions Hartpury with Cal Barrett starting at 14 and Simone Elrick – a try-scorer off the bench against Cardiff – and Cameron Keys coming into the pack. Jack Kenningham moves to No 8 and is replaced at blindside flanker by Gwilym Bradley.

Tonight’s match is taking place at Melksham RFC – click here for directions from the University of Bath Sports Training Village.
