Team Bath heading to Varsity rivals Cardiff Met for final BUCS Super Rugby match before Christmas break

Team Bath men’s 1st XV play their last BUCS Super Rugby match of 2019 today when they make the short journey to Wales to face Cardiff Met (4pm kick-off).

It has been a challenging first half of the season for the Blue & Gold – sponsored by Fulkers Bailey Russell and also supported by Rengen Developments – but they will be determined to end it on a positive note.

Ed Rimmer returns to the starting line-up to captain a Team Bath side that won on its last visit to the Welsh capital in early November when they faced Cardiff University.

Team Bath also won on their last visit to Cyncoed back in February but Cardiff Met were victorious 32-13 when the teams met at the University of Bath Sports Training Village five weeks ago.
