It’s derby day as Team Bath men’s 1st XV head to Hartpury for last away trip of BUCS Super Rugby league season

The final away trip of the 2019-20 BUCS Super Rugby league season is a short one for Team Bath men’s 1st XV as they head to Gloucestershire to face local rivals Hartpury (6.30pm).

The Blue & Gold – sponsored by Fulkers Bailey Russell – make the journey in good spirits having all but secured a place in the end-of-season knockout stages with last week’s impressive home win over Swansea.

There are just four changes to the XV that started that match, two of them in the front row as props Tom Rowlands and Harry Sturge come in to partner Caley Gray.

Ed Ashcroft returns at number eight and Sam Kennaugh – who, like Gray, was among the try scorers last week – moves to centre, with Ethan Hutt replacing him on the wing.

Hartpury were 31-12 victors when the teams met earlier this season at Melksham RFC but Team Bath, who are also supported by Rengen Developments, won on their last league visit to Gloucestershire.
