Team Bath men’s 1st XV determined to end BUCS Super Rugby league season on a positive note in front of home fans tonight

Team Bath men’s 1st XV will be looking to end their 2019-20 BUCS Super Rugby league campaign on a high when they welcome Leeds Beckett to the University of Bath Sports Training Village tonight (6.30pm, free to watch).

It has been a difficult season for the Blue & Gold – sponsored by Fulkers Bailey Russell – but they are guaranteed a place in the end-of-season knockout competition after securing a top-eight finish.

That means they have a shot at reaching Twickenham for the grand final, something that Leeds Beckett achieved last season and tonight’s visitors have continued that good form this year.

Team Bath, also supported by Rengen Developments, have a new-look back row for tonight’s game with Tom Williams and Henry Purchase joining Edoardo Balocco. Props Arthur Cordwell and Will French also return to the starting line-up, as does centre Alex Nisbet.

Don’t forget, entry is free for tonight’s match so come and support the Blue & Gold!
