Christmas cracker on the cards as Team Bath take on old rivals Loughborough in last BUCS Super Rugby home match of the year

Team Bath will be looking to end their 2021 BUCS Super Rugby home campaign on a good note when they welcome old rivals Loughborough to the Sports Training Village tonight (Wednesday).

The Rengen-sponsored men’s 1st XV suffered a setback against Leeds Beckett last week but had won their previous match against Northumbria and will be seeking a repeat of that form in their last home fixture before the Christmas break.

It will be a tough contest, though, as Loughborough currently sit second in the table having won seven of their nine games so far this season.

Joint captain Ed Ashcroft returns from injury for Team Bath, while hooker John Taylor and flanker Xavier Hastings also come into the pack in the only changes to the XV that started the Leeds Beckett match.

Kick-off is 6.30pm and admission is free to spectators.
