Team Bath bidding to extend BUCS Super Rugby winning run as they welcome Swansea to Sports Training Village

In-form Team Bath are bidding to extend their BUCS Super Rugby winning run to four games when they welcome Swansea to the Sports Training Village on Wednesday (6.30pm kick-off, free to watch).

Their last home match at the University of Bath saw the Bath Building Society-sponsored men’s 1st XV earn a nail-biting 36-35 win over table-topping Loughborough, a result they built on with last week’s 28-10 victory at Nottingham.

With a number of Bath Rugby Academy players in contention for Premiership Rugby Cup places this weekend, Team Bath make six changes to the XV that started the match at Nottingham with props Ollie Tack and Archie McNicol coming into the front row.

Co-captain Tom Williams and George Doel return in the back row, with Mackenzie Graham – scorer of three tries in his last three games – moving back to lock, while Zac Rodber starts at fly-half and France 7s international Luca Mignot returns at full-back.

Entry is free for the penultimate home match before Christmas – simply head through the Sports Training Village to the Sports Café balcony overlooking the athletics infield.

Team Bath starting XV: 1 Ollie Tack, 2 Jasper Spandler, 3 Archie McNicol, 4 Eddie Erskine, 5 Mackenzie Graham, 6 Tom Williams (c), 7 Tom Cowan, 8 George Doel; 9 Elis Horgan, 10 Zac Rodber, 11 Alfie Garside (c), 12 Sam Kennaugh, 13 Louie Hennessey, 14 Ethan Hawtin, 15 Luca Mignot.
