University of Bath students and BUCS Super Rugby players help Bath United to entertaining victory over Harlequins at The Rec

A late penalty from sporting scholar George Worboys secured a closely-fought victory over Harlequins A at The Rec on Friday for a Bath Rugby United side featuring a host of University of Bath students.

Sports Performance student Worboys, who is supported by an Ivor Powell Sporting Scholarship, slotted over the decisive kick with three minutes remaining to clinch a 22-21 success for the hosts.

He also converted two of the three tries for Bath whose starting line-up included fellow England U20 internationals and University of Bath students Max Ojomoh and Ethan Staddon, who is supported by a Santander Scholarship.
