Fixtures revealed as Team Bath men’s 1st XV begin countdown to return of BUCS Super Rugby for 2021-22 season

After an 18-month wait, BUCS Super Rugby will finally return in September as the 2021-22 season gets under way.

Team Bath men’s 1st XV, who were among the league’s founder members in 2016, will start their latest campaign with a visit to Leeds Beckett on Wednesday 29th September – Leeds were also their last opponents back in March 2020 before the Covid pandemic put student rugby on hold.

Local rivals Hartpury will provide the opposition for the Blue & Gold’s eagerly-awaited first home match of the season on Wednesday 6th October, with Swansea, Exeter, Northumbria, Leeds Beckett and Loughborough all visiting Bath before the Christmas break.

The season resumes in late January with a home match against Cardiff University and there is a Welsh feel to the end of the campaign too with Team Bath entertaining Cardiff Met before visiting Cardiff Uni and Swansea in their last three league fixtures.
