University of Bath Rugby Student Performance Sport programme partners with leading training equipment and match ball suppliers Rhino

Rhino will supply performance rugby squads at the University of Bath with their elite-level Vortex Pro match ball  as part of a new partnership that will also see them supply contact equipment to the 2024 BUCS Super Rugby semi-finalists.

The new collaboration with the University of Bath Rugby Student Performance Sport programme means the university’s rugby teams will have access to state-of-the-art training gear including scrum machines, balls and other essential equipment.

Aaron James, Head of Rugby at the University of Bath, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Rhino Rugby, a brand synonymous with quality and innovation in rugby training. This collaboration will allow us to continue to deliver a rugby environment that supports the development of players from the pre-elite to elite level of the sport.”

Keiron Blackburn, Rhino general manager, added: “The quality of university rugby in the UK is at an all-time high and the University of Bath is right at the forefront of this, so we couldn’t be happier to be working with them across their rugby programme. Not only will they have access to our world-renowned contact equipment but they’ll also be using the latest elite-level Rhino rugby match balls, which are now used by more than 80 rugby playing nations across the world.”
