Three more University of Bath BUCS Super Rugby stars compete in 2025 U20 Six Nations as past and present students start for England A

Eight University of Bath students have now competed in the 2025 U20 Six Nations tournament after Connor Treacey and Tyler Offiah made their England age-group debuts against Scotland, while Jack Woods started for Wales.

Treacey and Offiah, who study Sports Management & Coaching and Politics & International Relations respectively, came off the bench as England made it three wins from a three with a nine-try 57-13 victory.

Two of those tries came from another student, Kepu Tuipulotu, while Hudson Powell Sporting Scholar Aiden Ainsworth-Cave (International Development with Economics) and Sports Performance student Vilikesa ‘Billy’ Sela also made an impact from the bench as they made their third appearances of the competition. Charlie Griffin, who started England’s wins over Ireland and France, was sidelined by injury.

Full-back Woods impressed on his U20 debut as Wales edged out Ireland 20-12 in Newport and Enoch Opoku Gyamfi again started for Italy in their home defeat to France.

All eight of the students have represented the University of Bath men’s 1st XV in BUCS Super Rugby, with all but Ainsworth-Cave – who plays his club rugby for Northampton Saints – part of the Bath Rugby Academy.

Meanwhile, Business student Max Ojomoh lined up alongside Bath alumni Will Butt and Jack Kenningham in the starting XV for England A’s 28-12 victory over Ireland at Bristol’s Ashton Gate.

Ojomoh, Butt and Kenningham – the latter a Premiership Rugby title winner with Harlequins – also cut their teeth in BUCS Super Rugby with Bath.
