Team Bath BUCS Super Rugby player Max Ojomoh helps England Rugby to victory over France in dramatic U20 Six Nations opener

University of Bath student Max Ojomoh helped England Rugby U20s make a strong start to their Six Nations campaign with an excellent victory in France on Saturday.

The Business Administration student, who is supported by the Team Bath Dual Career programme, was pivotal in a key moment in the game as he jinked his way through midfield before offloading for Rusiate Tuima to score the opening try of the game.

That score, successfully converted by Josh Hodge, saw England take a 10-9 lead into half-time and the visitors touched down twice more in the second half to extend their advantage.

France fought back to level at 24-24 but Richard Capstick bundled over in the last minute to give England a dramatic bonus-point victory.

Ojomoh – who plays for Team Bath men’s 1st XV in BUCS Super Rugby, as well as Bath Rugby Academy – and his team-mates will be looking to build on that win when they visit Edinburgh on Friday (February 8) to face Scotland.
