Team Bath BUCS Super Rugby trio selected for 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa

University of Bath students Harvey Cuckson, Sam Harris and Louie Hennessey will be competing at the 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship, taking place in South Africa from 24th June to 14th July.

Sports Performance student Cuckson and fellow Bath Rugby Academy player Harris, who studies Sport and Exercise Science, are in an England squad who start their campaign against Ireland on Saturday 24th June (12.30pm kick-off).

Hennessey, who also combines his Bath Rugby Acacemy career with a Sports Performance course, will represent Wales at the tournament, with their opening match also on Saturday 24th against New Zealand (3pm).

Second-row Cuckson, fly-half Harris and centre Hennessey all helped Team Bath men’s 1st XV record a top-four finish in BUCS Super Rugby and reach the BUCS Rugby Championship semi-finals during the 2022-23 season.
